The Naturally Clean Home 150 Nontoxic Recipes for Cleaning and Disinfecting with Essential Oils

You know I love essential oils and I love finding new ways to use and incorporate them into my life. And that's why this little book caught my eye.

The explanations of essential oils and what they can do, like being antiseptic or antibacterial,  are spot on and explained very clearly and simply. I love how it's laid out. Logical and more than one recipe for many products. That's nice if you have different preferences of basic ingredients. And there are many recipes packed in that I found particularly interesting; septic tank care, car cleaner, pest control.  These are recipes that I haven't come across before. And there are the other recipes I call the basics; air fresheners, potpourri and laundry detergents to name a few, that are easy and effective

However, I was a bit disappointed about the recipe for making your own dryer sheets. Just adding essential oils to a cloth doesn't seem effective to me. I've come across other recipes using vinegar or hair conditioner soaked cloths with essential oils added to it that would be better to get rid of static cling while also scenting the load.

But all in all, I highly recommend adding this to your library. I think it will be a working handbook you will regularly turn to as you make your home a natural nest. Follow the following Amazon Associates link to get your own copy:
