Things are growing here in Ohio. Tomatoes are starting to ripen, we are getting tons of cucumbers and zuchinni and the chamomile is blooming. I just love seeing their sunny faces. And every morning I go out to inspect how everyone is doing.
Everyone who knows me, knows I connect with the plant energies. Their happiness is infectious. It is a time of meditation for me. I take my coffee to the deck and watch as everyone wakes up. First the birds begin their songs. Then I notice the hummingbirds buzzing at their feeder. Then the sun peeks through and that is when the plants begin to awaken. If you are quiet and in a meditative state, you can communicate with them. It takes patience, and a quiet attitude, and an openness.
They say that when you are stressed or depressed to spend time in nature. And I know why. We are made to connect to the natural world. When we cut ourselves off, we become unbalanced.
So whenever I am able, I will be out there, balancing myself.
